After the Australian state of Victoria pulled out, the million-dollar question looming significant is -who will host the 2026 Commonwealth Games? London has offered to host the games saying that it ‘stands ready’. But the multi-disciplinary games will cost about GBP 500 million. As they have the infrastructure ready and have invested a lot, they may be ready to host the event, but the Caribbean islands are yet to make an offer.
