Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27, according to multiple media reports. Known for following his parents into the fashion world, Presley built a career as a model and appeared in campaigns and runway shows for major brands. Los Angeles County records accessed by PEOPLE show that Presley passed away on Sunday, September 20, at a rehab center. A spokesperson from Presley’s mom Cindy, dad Rande, and sister Kaia Gerber said in a statement to PEOPLE: "At this very difficult and painful time, we are requesting privacy."

In January 2019, Presley was arrested on a DUI charge. Later that year, he was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to complete a DUI program and perform two days of community service.


Born in Beverly Hills, California, in 1999, Presley followed his mother into the modeling industry. He also spoke publicly about his struggles with mental health and substance abuse, using his social media platforms to share parts of his recovery journey.

Presley began posting 'Mental Health Mondays' videos on Instagram. According to PEOPLE, one such video that was uploaded in 2024 involved him talking about being part of recovery circles and how crucial it is to get along with others.

In another video, cited by the outlet, that was uploaded in July 2025, Presley talked about developing healthy habits in his day-to-day activities. He remembers having been a very active kid in his childhood who used to play sports and do surfing, water polo, and swimming.
