ET OnlineJamie Lopez, who is the founder of BabyDoll Beauty Couture and star of We TV's "Super Sized Salon", has passed away at the age of 37. Their Instagram page has posted a message to all their followers.

Jamie openly discussed her weight on My Super Sized Salon. She was bedridden and weighed over 840 pounds. Jamie was also hospitalized for a year and had to go to undergo physical therapy to be able to walk again. Lopez's weight loss journey was motivated by her desire for her business to succeed.

Jamie Lopez's first EP, Queendom, was released on October 7. Taking it to Instagram, she announced, "Hey Dolls 💋My Very First EP Dropped Today!! Queendom👑! Music 🎵 is my first love! And has Gotten me through some very Hard times & Break Ups!! Huge Thank You!! to all Who made this project happen."

“This is my dream and I am not going to give up on it. I have put my life and everything into this — sacrifice, blood, sweat, tears, everything. Financially it is a huge investment, but right now I feel like it’s go big or go home," She told the Mirror in April 2019.

Lopez's memoir Big Fat Lies was published in November 2021 which detailed her struggle to accept herself and take control of her weight after becoming bedridden. It became Amazon's top 100 titles in September that year.

When asked about critics who claimed that Jamie was promoting unhealthy choices, she said, "It makes me cry when people say that. If I'm going to lose weight then I'm going to lose weight, but I will still need a place to go and get my nails done. Should I have to stop that because I am fat? People need a safe space and I am going to give them what they need."

Although the exact cause of Jamie's demise has been kept under wraps, TMZ had reported on the weekend that Jaime had been hospitalized for heart issues.
