Carl Dean, Dolly Parton's longtime love, has died at the age of 82 on March 3. Despite Dean's absence from the public eye, the couple had a strong bond after nearly 60 years of marriage. Parton expressed her heartbreak and asked for privacy during this difficult time.

Carl Dean passed away in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday. His wife, Dolly Parton, took to Instagram to share the news of Dean's death. It is unknown what caused his death.

The singer of "I Will Always Love You" added a few remarks of her own. “Carl and I had a lot of amazing years together."
