Karen Sofía Quiroz Ramírez, a Colombian bike influencer, passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident. She was 25. The fatal accident occurred on a highway in Floridablanca, Colombia, when her motorcycle reportedly collided with a truck on Wednesday, November 26, according to local newspaper Metrópoles.

According to the news outlet, Ramírez, who was popular among her social media followers as Bikergirl, lost control of her bike and collided laterally with a Chevrolet Spark. Ramírez was then reportedly run over by a truck also traveling along the highway.

Preliminary reports suggest that the star influencer tried to slip between two vehicles. It was a maneuver she had likely attempted countless times, but this time she ran out of luck, as it turned out to be fatal for her.


Dubbing the accident a case of “lane splitting,” transport official Jahir Andres told the Daily Mail on Saturday, November 29, “The most likely hypothesis for the accident is that the motorcyclist was traveling between two vehicles.” “This situation will be subject to an investigation,” Andres said.

“The Prosecutor’s Office will proceed to clearly and precisely determine the cause of this fatal traffic accident. We will carry out the corresponding investigations, conduct the respective interviews with witnesses, and analyze the CCTV footage,” the official added.

Who is Karen Sofía Quiroz Ramírez?

Known as “Biker Girl Karen,” Ramírez had turned 25 a few weeks ago. She had shared her birthday photos in an Instagram post on October 5, 2025, with her new age and a sparkle emoji. Based on the content she often posted on her Instagram, she seemed energetic, tattoo-loving, adventurous, and authentic.

A message shared by her hours before her tragic death has caught everyone’s attention, especially her fans. “I’m hoping I don’t crash, because I’m riding without my glasses,” she wrote via her Instagram Stories, per Metrópoles.

Ramirez had more than 31,000 followers on Instagram at the time of her death. In her last upload on Wednesday, she was seen washing her black-and-pink motorcycle. She often shared Instagram and TikTok footage from her motorcycle rides.
