Valentina Gomez, a Republican candidate vying for Texas' 31st Congressional District, released a video on Monday (December 1, 2025) (local time) appealing the people of Texas to vote for her if they wanted the state to be free from “terrorist muslims,” “pedophiles and illegals.”

In the 50 second video, Gomez reiterated her stance against illegal migrants saying that if she wins the election, she will make Texas “the worst place for groomers, terrorists Muslims.”

“Texas I have officially filed to become your next Congresswoman. So the choice is yours, vote for me so we can kick every dirty muslim out of Texas. Save your daughters from getting raped by Muhammad and protect our soldeirs from getting murdered in broad daylight,” she said in the video.


“Let me be very clear, we will make Texas the worst place for groomers, terrorists Muslims , pedophiles and illegals to live in. So help me god for me this is just an election but for you and your daughter this is your life because Texas has only gotten more muslims under these weak Republicans,” she further stated.

In the video clip, which she posted on her X, she also mentioned New York where Zohran Mamdani won the race for mayor. New York City already fell to Islam, so did Michigan and Minnesota. You’re next in line if Texas falls to Islam, it's simply because you didn't vote correctly. God Bless you all.

“I’m officially running for US Congress.I will make Texas the worst place for terrorist muslims & illegals so help me God.For me, this is just an election, but for you, this is YOUR life. Jesus is King,” the far-right MAGA congressional hopeful said in the caption of the X post.

Valentina Gomez: Career and Controversies



Born on May 8, 1999 in Medellin, Gomez emigrated to the US in 2009. She earned an MBA from Tulane University and was a Division 1 college swimmer. On the Valentina For Congress website, she also revealed that she has two brothers. Her oldest brother Jonathan is an Olympian, while the other brother Maicoll is serving in the National Guard. Before entering into politics, Gomez had a career in the field of finance and according to her LinkedIn profile, she focused on “Financial and Strategic optimization.”

Gomez has been embroiled in controversies in the recent past for posting violent stunts and using hateful rhetoric against Muslims, the LGBT+ community, Black people, and immigrants, according to The Independent.

In August, 2025, she shared a video in which she was seen burning a copy of the Holy Quran and vowed to end Islam in the state. Prior to that, she had disrupted a Muslim civic engagement event in May 2025 at the Texas State Capitol by grabbing the microphone. “Islam has no place in Texas. Help me to Congress so we can end the Islamisation of America. I only fear God,” she said, as quoted by CSR Journal.
