Who is Trent Alexander-Arnold?
Trent John Alexander-Arnold was born in Liverpool on 7th October 1998 to his mother Dianne Alexander and father, Michael Arnold. He has two brothers, the elder one named Tyler and the younger one is called Marcel. Tyler is also Alexander-Arnold’s agent. His footballing journey started at the age of 6 when he was spotted by Ian Barringan, a coach at the Merseyside club at a half-term training camp which was hosted by Liverpool. As per reports, Alexander-Arnold stated that there were only “six or seven” spots and he was lucky that his name was “one of those that got pulled out.”
Alexander-Arnold grew up as a supporter of Liverpool and drew inspiration from the club’s historic win in the Champions League final against AC Milan in 2005. As he started his training at the club’s academy, his impressive performances helped him quickly move up the ranks.
He initially started as a winger, but then shifted to the defensive role of a right-back at the age of 17. One of the reasons for this change was because as a right-back, he would get a slightly easier route towards making it to the Liverpool first team.

With the win against Fulham, Liverpool sit at the second place in the English Premier League table, just a point below league leaders, Arsenal.
