Who is sending the mysterious drones to American military bases? Conspiracy theories float on social media, Biden and FBI have no clue
Nearly 1,000 mysterious drones have been reported across the U.S. in recent weeks, hovering above homes, military bases, and sensitive locations.

Officials confirmed 964 unmanned aircraft system (UAS) sightings in a few weeks, with 200 reported on one night. The sightings have been concentrated in New Jersey counties like Hunterdon (243 sightings), Somerset (170), Bergen (75), and others. Sightings have also occurred in New York, Pennsylvania, and as far as California and Virginia, near a military air base.
Many of these objects, described as large, glowing, and hovering close to the ground, have raised concerns about security and public safety. Despite ongoing investigations, the Pentagon and FBI have said the drones do not pose an immediate threat, though they remain unexplained.

Elected officials, including New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, have demanded President Joe Biden take stronger action to uncover the origins of the mysterious drones. Murphy emphasized that residents deserve transparency and answers.
In New Jersey, Mayor Michael Melham revealed that fire departments have been advised to wear hazmat suits if a drone crashes and to alert bomb squads immediately, further heightening public concern.
Adding to the intrigue, Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew claimed that the drones might be launched from an Iranian "mothership" allegedly spotted off the New Jersey coast.Van Drew called for decisive action, although the Pentagon refuted his claims, stating there is no evidence of such a vessel.

Officials have suggested the sightings might involve misidentified helicopters, planes, or large drones used in commercial activities like agriculture.
