Lynch and the other people who went missing from the overturned ship were still being searched as of Tuesday morning. Already, fifteen passengers—among them a 1-year-old baby girl—have been saved. Ayla Ronald, a 36-year-old New Zealand lawyer with Clifford Chance who also worked on Lynch's fraud case, is one of the survivors. Regarding his daughter's ordeal, Ronald's father Lin spoke with 9News, stating that she was very shocked at the moment and that at this point he could only say that she had texted him to let him know that there are deaths, and she and her partner are alive. The Canadian chef on board the ship is the only body that has been recovered from the wreck so far.
