Conditions are getting worse for the Beltway, where the roads are getting increasingly dangerous, and the visibility is less than half a mile. The temperature is below the freezing point. As predicted by the weather forecast, Maryland will experience the transition of rain to snow a little slower than other areas. Currently, parts of Montgomery, Loudoun, Frederick, and Fauquier have the heaviest snowfall. In regions around Hagerstown and Winchester, the snowfall is already over an inch.
