"The White Lotus" Season 3 will have South Korean girl group 'Blackpink' singer and rapper Lisa in a prominent role, as per a Variety report.

In the upcoming third season of the popular HBO series, Lisa will be credited under her birth name, Lalisa Manobal. Like all castings for this season, details about her role are being kept confidential for now.

Filming for "The White Lotus" is scheduled to commence in February, with shooting locations spanning Thailand, Phuket, Koh Samui, and Bangkok.


As a member of the massively popular girl group BLACKPINK, Lisa is one of the most famous women in South Korea. Her role on the show could boost her star profile with American audiences, as per a Reuters report.
