Where is Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran’s new Supreme Leader? Even the CIA and Mossad are unable to find him
Is Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, dead or alive? Social media platforms are abuzz with the question. This comes as there has been no public appearance of Mojtaba Khamenei since deadly strikes that killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on February 28. Yes, there have been two written statements from Khamenei Junior but no voice message has been released so far.

Both U.S. intelligence and Israeli officials are reportedly equally surprised as they are trying to gather accurate inputs about current whereabouts of Mojtaba Khamenei and details about how Iran's Supreme Leader is running the regime during the ongoing war with United States of America and Israel.

Where is Iran Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei?

Commoners in Iran seem to be worried about Mojtaba Khamenei and some have even called him "the cardboard ayatollah", as per a report on New York Post. Some Iranian officials have said he was lightly injured in the strikes that killed his father. U.S. officials have suggested he suffered severe injuries.

On last Friday, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei released ‌a message on Friday marking the start of Persian New Year which he named the year of a "resistance economy under national unity and national security." In the statement, released on ‌his Telegram channel, Khamenei said that attacks against Turkey and Oman were not carried out by Iran or its allied forces.

Iran's new supreme leader also rejected de-escalation proposals conveyed to Tehran by intermediaries, demanding Israel and the United States first be "brought to their knees", a senior Iranian official claimed last week.

According to reports, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei had ‌held his first foreign policy session since being named supreme leader, and had taken a stance for revenge against the U.S. and Israel that was “very tough and serious”, the official said, without clarifying whether the leader attended in person or remotely.

The supreme leader had responded that it was not "the right time for peace until the United States and Israel are brought to their knees, accept defeat, and pay compensation."

The supreme leader has the final say in all matters of state in the Islamic Republic. No new images have been released of him since his selection over a week ago by a clerical assembly to ‌replace his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
