When the President announced his ambitions to install 5 lakh electric vehicle charging outlets, Elon Musk allegedly persuaded him to buy a Tesla.

The drama began when the US President announced on Twitter that his administration is constructing 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations around the country. Musk responded to the tweet by advising the President to simply purchase a Tesla.

In response to Musk's tweet, Biden said on his @POTUS account that Musk hired him to get stuff accomplished and hopes he is making Musk proud. Musk responded by saying that he "kinda likes this post."

Musk also stated that no one was paying attention to Biden because the President failed to mention Tesla at his State of the Union address earlier this year. According to Musk, no one was watching the State of the Union.

What did the US President Joe Biden say about Tesla?
In his speech, Biden emphasized Ford and GM's collective $18 billion investment in electric car development, whereas he did not mention Tesla. Musk responded directly to Biden, claiming that Tesla had generated over 50,000 jobs in the United States while investing more than GM and Ford combined.
