David Plouffe, Kamala Harris' top adviser, deleted his account on X after a post acknowledging Harris' loss to Donald Trump and appearing to criticize President Biden's campaign decisions.

Plouffe wrote on Wednesday that his fellow campaign staff members left it all out on the field in their efforts to prevent Trump from winning a second term in the White House, calling it a privilege to work on Team Harris.
He continued that they dug out of a deep hole, but not enough. Plouffe's post received immediate criticism; screenshots of the comments revealed hundreds of responses. His account was deleted by Thursday at 10 a.m. EST.

On Monday, the leading Democratic strategist predicted that Harris could win each of the seven swing states. According to projections from Decision Desk HQ, Trump actually won all seven.
