After Vice President Harris lost to former President Trump this week, David Plouffe, a key adviser to his campaign, deleted his account on the social media site X after posting something that seemed to be critical of President Biden, as quoted in a report by The Hill.

Plouffe wrote on Wednesday that his fellow campaign staff members left it all out on the field in their efforts to prevent Trump from winning a second term in the White House, calling it a privilege to work on Team Harris.

He continued that they dug out of a deep hole, but not enough. Plouffe's post received immediate criticism; screenshots of the comments revealed hundreds of responses. His account was deleted by Thursday at 10 a.m. EST.

On Monday, the leading Democratic strategist predicted that Harris could win each of the seven swing states. According to projections from Decision Desk HQ, Trump actually won all seven.

Many Democrats are devastated about the party's future in the wake of Harris's loss as well as the Senate's and probably the House's.

Biden has come under fire from some for staying in the race, while Harris has been accused of wasting too much time criticizing Trump or failing to explain her economic plan to the American people.
