Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris are going to have a really tight competition in all the seven swing states namely Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and North Carolina, reported the recent poll survey conducted by Decision Desk HQ. According to The Hill, Kamala Harris is leading in four of this swing states whereas Donald Trump is leading in three swing states, both with significantly thin margins between them which might end up impacting the Electoral College results.

US Vice President Kamala Harris has slight lead in the swing states of Pennsylvania and Wisconsin with a support of 48.5% in both the states whereas she is losing in Arizona where former US President Donald Trump is ahead of her by merely 1%. The Hill noted that, Donald Trump is having a fair lead over Kamala Harris in the states of North Carolina and Georgia which is indicating a potential shift in voter sentiment in the said states whereas Kamala Harris is leading in Nevada by a narrow margin of 1 per cent.

Polling surveys and polling trends has revealed that Kamala Harris’s support is declining in most of the swing states whereas Donald Trump is gaining momentum recently. Some striking examples can be noted, like in Arizona and Georgia, Kamala Harris’s support has decreased where Donald Trump is now leading, but the position of Kamala Harris in Nevada has improved due to her outreaching efforts among the Hispanic community voters.

Swing states collectively hold 93 electoral votes which are genuinely important for both the camps to secure their victory in the US Presidential Elections. Both, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are trying their level best by intensely campaigning in the battlegrounds states to sway away the undecided voters in their favor.
