It is the vice president’s first lead in the forecast, reports 'The Hill'. The latest model shows the vice president with 45.5% support compared to the former president's 44.1%. Kamala Harris has not yet been officially declared a candidate for the US Presidential Election 2024.

Nate Silver took to social media platform X to say that the race for the Electoral College may be a close one. He wrote in a post on X that one heuristic way to look at this is that if Kamala Harris winds up somewhere in between Clinton 2016 and Biden 2020, it makes for an extremely close outcome in the Electoral College.



The news outlet has reported that the presumptive Democrat candidate has succeeded in generating enthusiasm within the Democratic Party in the opening weeks of her campaign, raising $310 million last month. On the other hand, Trump’s campaign declared last week to have raised nearly $139 million in July and has $327 million in cash on hand.
