So Transgender is not an orientation. It is an identity. A transgender person personally can be gay, bisexual, queer etc.


Transgender people have created a flag for themselves, and Monica Helms designed it in 1999. She was a trans woman in the USA. The flag has blue for baby boys and pink for baby girls, separated by a white in the middle to represent intersex, transgender or gender-neutral individuals. The flag dispels the age-old notion that trans people are lesser or superior, we are the same, but they are few. They must be treated equally and given similar rights and opportunities as men and women.

Non-Binary is what they call themselves as they lie outside the periphery of “man and “woman” categories.
