Speaking to “The Faulkner Focus”, Doug Schoen added that Biden may have to drop out in the next few weeks if the situation does not improve. He added that there are growing concerns within the Democratic party with many of the members not in favor of permitting Biden to continue his election campaign. This has been further exacerbated after the first presidential debate during which Trump was able to easily corner Biden who came across as under-confident and was unable to speak coherently.

Schoen said that there are two main reasons why Biden may have to end his political campaign. He said that a growing number of Democrats themselves at all levels find that Biden is too old and cannot manage a campaign. He said the top leadership, members of the US Congress and the grassroot workers all believe that Biden needs to end his political campaign and they do not trust his administrative capabilities.

Schoen said that Biden cannot sustain a political campaign when the party turns against him. According to his assessment, this can be expected shortly.

Schoen added that Biden’s cognitive decline and other issues have led to the Republicans leading in seven swing states. These states are critical for Biden to continue in office or for the Democrats to win the upcoming presidential poll.
