Fresh details have emerged in the sudden death of Actress Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, ex-wife of actor and singer David Hasselhoff, who died at the age of 62 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on March 5, 2025. Now, nearly three months after her death, the actresses’ last conversation with her daughter before she claimed her life has surfaced.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner death investigation summary, she had three drugs - Benzodiazepines, Clonazepam and 7- Aminoclonazepam - in her system at the time of her death.

The United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) states that Benzodiazepines are "depressants that produce sedation and hypnosis, relieve anxiety and muscle spasms, and reduce seizures”. Both Clonazepam and 7- Aminoclonazepam are in a class of Benzodiazepines, according to the DEA.


Pamela Bach’s final words

Before her death, Bach-Hasselhoff spoke to her daughter over the phone at approximately 7:45 am local time on March 5. According to media reports, she told her daughter that she “loved her very much" during the conversation.

After the call, the daughter made multiple attempts to reach out to her mother throughout the day but “never” received a reply. Later she arrived at her residence for a welfare check only to find her mother lying on her bed “unresponsive”.

Emergency services were called and paramedics pronounced Bach-Hasselhoff dead at the scene. No death note or signs of foul play were discovered. Bach-Hasselhoff had two daughters Taylor and Hayley with her ex-husband David Hasselhoff. She was married to him from 1989 to 2006.

In a statement to People.com following her death, David stated that the family was "deeply saddened". He also expressed his gratitude for the support that the family received during the difficult time and requested privacy.
