A well-known real estate entrepreneur in San Francisco, CEO of Prologis, Hamid Moghadam, claims that the city "may never recover" because its citizens "have no sense of security" and that the city's severe crime rate has reached a tipping point after being robbed of his wristwatch right outside his residence, a 15 million dollar place in Pacific Heights.

The CEO of Prologis, a company formed and headquartered in Bay City, Hamid Moghadam, claimed that two armed thieves attacked him on June 26 and stole his Patek Philippe watch.

Moghadam also wrote a letter to California's elected authorities, telling them that the city's standard of living had deteriorated to the point that its tax base was in danger.

He wrote that he hears all kinds of jokes about San Francisco whenever he travels the world.
