Netflix has confirmed the release schedule for Season 2 of Wednesday. The new season will be split into two parts, with four episodes in each. The story continues at Nevermore Academy, following the journey of Wednesday Addams.

Season 2 will feature eight episodes. Part 1 will be released on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. It will include episodes 1 to 4. Part 2 will be released on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. It will include episodes 5 to 8.

Storyline

The new season will follow Wednesday Addams as she returns to Nevermore Academy. She will face new enemies and challenges. She will interact with family, friends and rivals. A new supernatural mystery will unfold during the season. Wednesday will continue using her usual wit and charm to deal with the strange events.

Production Team

Tim Burton will direct four episodes: 1, 4, 7, and 8. He will be joined by Paco Cabezas, who will direct episodes 2 and 3. Angela Robinson will direct episodes 5 and 6. Filming for Season 2 began in early May 2024.
