Wednesday Season 2 on Netflix: Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday Addams, check the full returning cast; is season 3 happening

Wednesday returned with its second season on Netflix on August 6, 2025 amid high expectations from fans. Season 2 of the much-awaited show is set to be released in two parts. The first part of the show came out on August 6, 2025, with four episodes, and the second part will be out on September 3, 2025.

The list of episodes released on August 6, 2025: Episode 1 – Here We Woe Again, Episode 2 – It’s My Party and I’ll Woe If I Want To, Episode 3 – Dance the Night a Woe, Episode 4 – Now You See Me, Now You Woe. Part 2 of Wednesday season 2 will release on September 3, 2025. The four episodes are Episode 5 – Let Me Woe You Again, Episode 6 – The Final Woe Down Part 1, Episode 7 – The Final Woe Down Part 2, and Episode 8 – The Final Woe Down Part 3.

Wednesday Season 2: Returning cast

Jenna Ortega is back as Wednesday Addams, and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo have all been promoted to series regulars for Season 2, according to IMDb.

Zeta-Jones plays Morticia, while Guzmán plays Gomez and Ordonez plays Pugsley. Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, and Georgie Farmer will also be returning, as will Fred Armisen and Jamie McShane in guest roles.

Wednesday season 3 on cards?

Netflix renewed Wednesday for a third season on July 23, 2025. The announcement was made days before the release of season 2. The release date of Wednesday season 3 is not confirmed yet

“Our goal for season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can,” showrunners Al Gough told Tudum, as quoted by Entertainment. “We want to continue digging deeper into our characters while expanding the world of Nevermore and Wednesday.” We will be seeing more Addams Family members and learning more family secrets in Season 3!” Millar further stated.
