'We are peas in a pod': Eva Longoria on BFF Victoria Beckham and how they have sleepovers all the time

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has revealed her unique friendship with former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, who is now a fashion entrepreneur and the wife of superstar English footballer David Beckham.

In an interview with The Times, Eva spoke about how Victoria is the most loyal friend and “the funniest person”. Here’s all that Eva Longoria said about BFF Victoria Beckham.

“We are peas in a pod,” said Eva Longoria about Victoria Beckham, adding that she wished people knew how “funny and charming and smart Victoria is”.


“She’s the funniest person,” said Eva, further saying that although Victoria is an introvert, she’s an extrovert when with Eva.

The two often have sleepovers in London and talk all night. “We are inseparable,” gushed Eva, while revealing that Posh Spice helps her often and is “extremely loyal”.


“We have sleepovers all the time, mostly at their farmhouse or in London. We usually just blab all night,” said Eva, talking about the girl time together.

Eva Longoria also let fans know that Victoria Beckham is always available for her and that she gives Eva some “motherly advice” as well as “business advice”.

The two went on to become so close that Victoria hailed Eva as godmother to daughter Harper Beckham.

And like typical BFFs, Eva and Posh Spice share clothes, and she raids the former singer’s closet. Victoria had also designed Eva’s wedding dress and after-party dress and carried stuff around like best friends do. “She is ‘that’ best friend,” said Eva.

Incidentally, Eva Longoria was introduced to Victoria Beckham by Eva’s ex-husband Tony Parker, who was friends with David Beckham.
