Vice President JD Vance defended and responded to liberal commentator Brian Krassenstein on X after Krassenstein alleged that Vance was endorsing war crimes, following a US military strike on a Venezuelan drug boat that killed 11 people.

Vance posted on the X, 'Killing cartel members who poison our fellow citizens is the highest and best use of our military.' Krassenstein responded by posting, 'Killing the citizens of another nation who are civilians without any due process is called a war crime.' Then Vance fired back, 'I don’t give a shit what you call it.'

This back and forth didn't end here; the anti-Trump influencer said, ‘Killing 11 people in this way could be classified as an extrajudicial killing under international human rights law, potentially exposing U.S. officials to responsibility.’ He then reminded Vance of the penalty of such action and also demanded that the vice president should be impeached: ‘JD Vance should be impeached.’

The influencer was quick enough to post the issue on his website, saying, ‘JD Vance Just Cursed Me Out Like a Child, After I called him out for breaking International Law.’

The heated interaction came days after President Trump's announced, that the military had struck a drug-carrying vessel from Venezuela in the southern Caribbean Sea.

Trump said that 11 people died in the strike, which targeted members of Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan crime organization the administration recently designated as a foreign terrorist group, as per a CBS News report. Secretary of State Marco Rubio categorized it as a “lethal strike” against a vessel operated by a “designated narco-terrorist organization.”

This is also after the Trump administration was reportedly authorized to deploy 10 F-35 fighter jets to Puerto Rico to fight the drug cartel.
