Violent confrontation erupts between US Marines and civilians outside Texas bar

A disturbing video circulating on social media captures a fierce brawl between uniformed Marines and civilians outside the Voodoo Room nightclub on Austin's Sixth Street, Texas, as reported by the New York Post. The confrontation unfolded on Sunday, initiated by a woman who allegedly snatched a Marine's phone, exacerbating a verbal dispute.

In the video, a young man in a white hoodie attempted to throw a punch at one of the Marines but narrowly missed. Subsequently, additional Marines rushed to the scene, leading to a chaotic clash of punches and blows between the two groups. The outnumbered civilians faced vocal encouragement from bystanders, with chants of "USA! USA!"

Austin Police and Texas Highway Patrol officers intervened, quelling the confrontation. The footage shows a police officer arresting a civilian lying face down on the pavement. As the video concludes, mounted police arrive on the scene amid distant sirens.
