Video games free download: Cyberpunk 2077 makers CD Projekt offers five

CD Projekt, the publisher of Cyberpunk 2077, is offering a total of five video games for free download. For those unfamiliar with GOG, it serves as the digital storefront owned and managed by CD Projekt. Notably, GOG boasts an extensive collection of free games, including some highly acclaimed titles.

In recent days, GOG's winter sale has seen the addition of several remarkable games available for free download. These include Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Master, Lost Ruins, Caveblazers, and Lacuna. It's worth noting that these giveaways are available for a limited time only, adding to their exclusivity.

Earlier in December, one of the highest-profile video game conventions is being shut down permanently.


The Electronic Entertainment Expo, known as E3, had been held annually in Los Angeles since 1995 and was a popular spot for game companies to tease their latest creations before they hit store shelves.

The event hosted by a trade group, the Entertainment Software Association, had already been on hiatus since the COVID-19 pandemic forced its cancellation in June 2020. But E3 was facing trouble before the pandemic, with a host of companies either skipping the fair or staging their own events nearby.
