Angel Reese traded the basketball court for the catwalk and made history in the process. The Chicago Sky forward became the first professional athlete to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, joining the brand’s star-studded 'Wings Reveal' lineup in New York on Wednesday.

At 23, Reese made her runway debut in a pink floral lingerie set adorned with delicate blossoms and lace, paired with a dramatic feathered stole draped over her arms in soft pink and rose tones.

A former LSU national champion and the 2023 NCAA Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, Reese once again showcased her trademark confidence and charisma - this time under the runway lights instead of the arena spotlight.

"It was destined for me," Reese said during an interview, as quoted by AP, before the show began. "This is already for me. I'm so happy to be sitting in this room with so many amazing models and women. The team that put this all together has been amazing. I'm so excited."

Reese said she hired a modeling coach to "perfect my walk."

"I walk, sleep, hoop," she said. "And I hoop, sleep, walk."

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was livestreamed across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Prime Video in the US, blending high fashion with star-studded musical performances.

Pop sensation Madison Beer opened the show with a sultry rendition of 'Make You Mine', performing amid models in shimmering lingerie and her own set of pink wings. K-pop powerhouse TWICE also took the stage, lighting up the runway with dynamic performances of 'This is For' and 'Strategy'.

Adding to the spectacle, Karol G delivered an energetic performance of 'Ivonny Bonita' before taking her own turn down the runway in a bold red wings and lingerie ensemble, commanding the spotlight with confidence and flair.
