TikTok post featuring Victor Osimhen

The TikTok post has a clip of the striker's penalty miss from their match against Bologna on Sunday. The striker was seen berating Garcia after he was substituted off with four minutes remaining of the goalless draw. It indicated the tension between Osimhen and Napoli manager Rudi Garcia. However, the manager played down the incident.

Osimhen wants apology

Now, the Nigerian striker wants an apology from the Italian champions. Meanwhile, Osimhen removed almost all Napoli-related photos from his Instagram. He has also stopped following Napoli on Instagram.

On the other hand, Napoli have confirmed Osimhen in their squad against Udinese. It is interesting to note that the Nigerian joined Napoli for EUR 81.3 million in 2020. His current contract comes to an end in 2025 and he has not signed a new deal with the Italian club. If reports are to be believed, the striker has captured the interest of Manchester United and Chelsea.
