Before the movie was premiered globally, de Armas, director Andrew Dominik, Julianne Nicholson and Adrien Brody, caused quite a stir on the red carpet. This was mostly because Pitt interacted with the crowd while wearing a black face mask while he happened to come into intimate interaction with fans to sign autographs and take selfies. Pitt is also one of the producers of the movie.

Pitt unexpectedly arrived in Venice after skipping the film's press conference earlier in the day. Dede Gardner, one of the "Blonde" producers, was also there.

Due to de Armas' casting as the iconic star, the drama is a biography based on the novel penned by Joyce Carol Oates. It is one of the most eagerly awaited films of the festival.

Brody, the co-star, also broke into tears and was overwhelmed. Pitt however looked satisfied.

From Monroe's troubled upbringing to her steady growth to prominence, "Blonde" reinterprets her life. Brody, Bobby Cannavale, Xavier Samuel, Nicholson, and Evan Williams make up the supporting cast. At the Venice Film Festival, the movie made its debut in a competition.
