Over 15 million people are facing the possible threat of tornado in states across the Southeast and into the Midwest and an overall 22 million people have high wind warnings, USA Today reported quoting National Weather Service. At least 10 people have died due to storms.

Three people were killed in Alabama, one in Mississippi, one in Arkansas, two in Tennessee and three people in Kentucky. All of them died due to incidents related to storm.

Thousands are without electricity

Over 505,000 customers in Kentucky, 290,000 in Tennessee, more than 84,000 in Alabama are without electricity, as per the USA Today report.

Tornado, storm, snow warnings

A storm is predicted to bring snow in Midwest to New England, USA Today reported quoting AccuWeather. Six to 12 inches of snow is expected in Missouri to Maine, Boston, Chicago, and Detroit, as per the report.

Tornado watches have been issued for South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Virginia.

High winds warnings were issued for Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, Mississippi, Kentucky, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Alabama.
