Weather forecast for California in the US is not a sunny one. Stormy weather and rains were battering the San Francisco Bay area. This may lead to rising rivers and flooding.
The National Weather Service in its forecast has warned "relentless parade of atmospheric rivers" in the upcoming week. This will bring snow and heavy rainfall, the weather agency predicted.
The National Weather Service's Sacramento office tweeted on Sunday Sacramento Valley is witnessing "strong winds with gusts up to 60 mph". The wet weather prediction comes after days of rain in California from Pacific storms.
"Widespread power outages, downed trees and difficult driving conditions will be possible. Secure your loose outdoor items!" the National Weather Service's Sacramento office tweeted.
Damaging winds will return again later this evening through tomorrow as the next winter storm arrives to interior #NorCal.

Heavy storm is predicted on Monday. The weather agency in its forecast stated that rain amounting to 15 to 30 centimeters of rain expected on Wednesday.

San Francisco received 25 centimeters of rain since December 26. Popular ski area Mammoth Mountain received 3 meters of snow, according to the National Weather Service.
