US stock market's epic run to see some trouble in 2025? Here's what you should know

The US stock market has been undergoing an epic bull run in the last two years but it may run into some troubles this 2025, looking into recent statements from top market analysts

AP
The US stock market has been booming for the better part of the last two years but 2025 has seen some sudden turbulence owing to the fact that the Trump factor could be weighing in, according to an Investing report.

Market analyst says Trump factor could be playing a part

Analyst Ed Yardeni has recently stated that Trump's decision to impose tariffs on countries like China, Canada, Mexico, and others could be a major factor playing inside the markets. However, that could see a change once reciprocal tariffs are actually imposed by the US.

Meanwhile, US stocks could be performing fairly well, but not as well as Developed Markets Index Fund ETFs or commodities, which have a fairly higher growth percentage over the year, as per an Investing report. Even though US stocks rallied by leaps and bounds in 2024, not the same can be said for the year 2025, as there are chances that other assets and investments could perform better in this regard.
