US Stock Market top gainers and losers on October 15: Australian Oilseeds sees over 300% jump, Genprex also among top gainers, Yueda Digital Holding plunges; here’s how NASDAQ, Dow Jones, S&P 500 performed

Most of the US stock market witnessed a rise on Wednesday (October 15, 2025) projecting a positive outlook with key indexes seeing a jump fueled by technology stocks. The S&P 500 added 0.4% to 6,671.06, but only after jumping toward one of its biggest gains since the summer, erasing it all and then climbing back.

The Nasdaq composite climbed 0.7%, closing at 22,670.08 after earlier pinballing between a drop of 0.4% and a rally of 1.4%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lagged the market, shedding less than 0.1% to 46,253.31.

Technology stocks helped lead the way Wednesday following a better-than-expected profit report from Netherlands-based ASML, a major equipment supplier to the semiconductor industry. It expects its revenue for 2025 to be 15% above last year’s, while next year’s should be at least as high as this year’s. Several big banks also drove the market higher.

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, Australian Oilseeds Holdings Limited Warrant (COOTW) led the gains with a massive 321.07% jump. Other top advancers included Genprex, Inc. (GNPX) up 232.67%, enGene Holdings Inc. (ENGNW) rising 215.65%, Australian Oilseeds Holdings Limited Ordinary Shares (COOT) up 173.58%, and Omeros Corporation Common Stock (OMER) gaining 154.15%.

On the downside, Yueda Digital Holding Class A Ordinary Share (YDKG) fell sharply by 86.29%, followed by Aqua Metals, Inc. Common Stock (AQMS) down 52.94%, Electra Battery Materials Corporation Common Stock (ELBM) with a 50.96% drop, Pixelworks, Inc. (PXLW) declining 47.83%, and Largo Inc. Common Shares (LGO) falling 42.86%.

In the list of top five gainers on NASDAQ on Wednesday, Australian Oilseeds Holdings Limited Warrant (COOTW) closed at $0.1339. Other top advancers included Genprex, Inc. (GNPX) which closed at $0.84, enGene Holdings Inc at $3.63, Australian Oilseeds Holdings Limited Ordinary Shares (COOT) at $2.64, and Omeros Corporation Common Stock (OMER) at $10.42.

In the list of losers, closing price of Yueda Digital Holding Class A Ordinary Share (YDKG) dropped to $0.1906, Aqua Metals, Inc. Common Stock (AQMS) dropped to $13.94, Electra Battery Materials Corporation Common Stock (ELBM) closed at $2.31, Pixelworks, Inc. Common Stock (PXLW) closed at $7.805, and Largo Inc. Common Shares (LGO) at $1.44.
