US Presidential Election: Biden launches media campaign targeting Trump as a ‘convicted criminal’
Joe Biden has launched an advertisement as part of a media campaign and has lashed out at his opponent Donald Trump describing him as a ‘convicted criminal’. This advertisement comes ahead of the first presidential debate on June 27.

Advertisement:
It shows a clip of Trump in a courtroom and a narrator describes Trump as a convicted criminal saying that he has been convicted on 34 counts of felony, found liable for sexual assault and committing financial fraud. The ad also shows Biden working towards the welfare of all Americans. It adds that Biden has reduced the cost of healthcare and has forced big corporations to pay their dues, something which had been neglected before.The 30 second ad concludes with the message that this is an election between a convicted criminal who is only fighting for himself and Biden who is fighting for all Americans. This faces the risk of retaliation from Trump and his team who have targeted Biden over his state of health and his capabilities.
Cases against Trump:
Trump who had been earlier convicted in the ‘hush money’ cases involving adult actor Stormy Daniels will be sentenced by a New York jury on July 11. He has been convicted for falsifying business records. A Manhattan jury had in January ordered Trump to $83.3 million to columnist E Jean Carroll for defaming her in 2019. He had denied her allegations of sexual harassment.Elections:
