US President Joe Biden's two-year-old German Shepherd named Commander has bitten another US Secret Service agent at the White House.
President Joe Biden's dog, Commander, has bitten a member of the US Secret Service. This marks the 11th time such an incident has occurred. The latest attack took place at the White House on Monday evening, as confirmed by a Secret Service spokesperson.

The female officer who was bitten required immediate medical attention on-site. However, the Secret Service's Chief of Communications, Anthony Guglielmi, has assured that she is now "doing just fine."

Commander's history of biting incidents includes 10 previous occurrences between October 2022 and January of this year, all involving members of the US Secret Service.

When questioned about Commander's behavior, Elizabeth Alexander, a spokesperson for the first lady, Jill Biden, noted that the White House environment can be "stressful" for pets. She stated, "The first family continues to work on ways to help Commander handle the often unpredictable nature of the White House grounds."

Furthermore, she expressed the Bidens' gratitude to the Secret Service and Executive Residence staff for their unwavering commitment to keeping the president, first family, and the nation safe.

It's worth mentioning that after similar biting incidents, President Biden's previous pet, Major, a German shepherd, was relocated to live with friends in Delaware. The Department of Homeland Security made Commander's previous 10 attacks public in July, prompting the Bidens to collaborate with the Secret Service and White House residence staff on enhancing leashing protocols and training for the dog. They also established designated areas where Commander could exercise.
