US Paralympic gold medalist swimmer Robert Griswold accused of raping team-mate
Robert Griswold is accused of raping an autistic swimmer. A complaint was lodged against the gold-medal swimmer in the Paralympics in a federal court in Colorado on Friday.

The US Center for SafeSport temporarily suspended Griswold on August 23 owing to suspicions of misbehavior. According to the complaint, this is a tragic tragedy in which a young guy beat all obstacles to become a world-class Paralympic swimmer only to have his life wrecked by rape and abuse when he was partnered with a team member who was a violent sexual predator.
According to the lawsuit, Griswold misused his position in the Olympic and Paralympic Swimming communities to engage in a systematic pattern of abuse in which he sought out and groomed vulnerable athletes, specifically minors and disabled Paralympic athletes living and training at the US Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado.
