US Open star Ben Shelton can’t stop gushing over girlfriend Trinity Rodman’s support

Trinity Rodman showed support for her boyfriend , after he defeated Ignacio Buse in three straight sets during the first day of the 2025 US Open.

The tennis star, said his girlfriend, Trinity, took a ‘red eye’ for him, by travelling from California, to see his match, amongst his family.

Trinity Rodman, went viral, by wearing his last name and picture on her legs.

After Shelton won his Canadian National Bank Open against Karen Khachanov, Trinity was in the stands to show her support. Shelton also won the ATP Masters 1000 title.

Ben Shelton, the young tennis protege

Shelton, who is famous for his boisterous personality, has come into the limelight by winning three titles on his ATP tour, and has reached the US Open semifinals of 2023, and the Australian Open semifinals in 2025.

He is also a tennis protege with 6 wins in his name. This makes it clear that he seems fit for such a relationship. Shelton, 22, was born in Gainsville, Florida, and stands 6’4” tall.

Trinity Rodman, who is a soccer player, had shown her affection by standing up for her boyfriend, after the Khachanov win, by stating she found it inspirational how Shelton showed up, even amid criticism, from people who doubted him, and she saw his hard work.

The sports couple clearly have each other's backs as Ben also did not shy away from showing support to Rodman, earlier, when she had a back injury before a soccer match.

Who is Trinity Rodman?

An international football player, who plays for the US Women National Football team, and a player who scored three goals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, saw gold for the team that year.

With awards like the NWSL Championship and NWSL Rookie of the Year, and part of NWSL Best XI in her first season, the player is not short of accolades.

Rodman, is the daughter, of Dennis Rodman, a former basketball player.

She also made history, by being the youngest ever player to join a club, the Washington Spirits, at 18.
