Novak Djokovic returns to Arthur Ashe Stadium on Tuesday, aiming to deliver another memorable performance at the 2025 US Open. The Serbian legend holds an impeccable 10-0 record against Taylor Fritz, but he remains cautious as the American, last year’s runner-up and the lone home hope in the men’s draw, looks to stage an upset.

In the women’s singles, defending champion Aryna Sabalenka faces Markéta Vondroušová in a high-stakes quarterfinal. No woman has successfully defended the US Open crown since Serena Williams’ three-peat from 2012 to 2014, but Sabalenka is thriving under the pressure of her World No. 1 status.

World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz also continues his title chase, eyeing a second US Open and sixth Grand Slam overall. The Spanish star is the only player yet to drop a set this fortnight but will be tested by Czech 20th seed Jiri Lehecka, making just his second career major quarterfinal appearance. At 22, Alcaraz’s blend of dominance and composure has made him one of the tournament’s most formidable contenders, though Lehecka’s power game could pose a serious challenge.

With Djokovic, Sabalenka, and Alcaraz all in action, Tuesday promises a thrilling day in the battle for New York glory.
