US Open (August 28) Schedule: Full Order of Play, Timings, How to watch on TV and Online - Jannik Sinner, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff in second round action
The US Open 2025 continues with exciting matches. Jannik Sinner faces Alexei Popyrin. Iga Swiatek plays Suzan Lamens. Coco Gauff battles Donna Vekic. The tournament boasts a record $90 million prize pool. Winners in both men's and women's singles ...

In the women’s singles, second seed Iga Swiatek will meet Dutch qualifier Suzan Lamens after a dominant opening-round performance. The 24-year-old world number two dropped only three games in her victory over Emiliana Arango, extending her remarkable streak of consecutive opening-round wins at WTA events to 65.
Third seed Coco Gauff also booked her place in the second round, though in far less straightforward fashion. The 2023 US Open champion struggled with her serve, committing 10 double faults in a hard-fought win over Ajla Tomljanovic. Gauff recently split with coach Matthew Daly ahead of the tournament and turned to Gavin MacMillan, former serving coach of Aryna Sabalenka, to address her serve mechanics.
