Norwegian Casper Ruud continues the stunning form of his career as he ground down Karen Khachanov in the US Open grand slam semi-final. Despite the immense pressure of being the favourite in this semi-final match, Rudd controlled his steady nerves, played an extraordinary 55-shot rally, and confirmed his victory at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
After this victory, Rudd becomes the first Norwegian to reach the Flushing Meadows final.
