As per the official, the continued COVID-19 outbreaks in China and the lack of transparent data being supplied by the PRC have raised growing worries in the international community

As per the officials, the continued COVID-19 outbreaks in China and the lack of transparent data being supplied by the PRC have raised growing worries in the international community. As the virus spreads mostly unchecked across the 1.4 billion-person nation of China, certain hospitals and funeral homes there are currently running out of capacity. Taiwan will also test arrivals from mainland China, the administration announced in a statement.
The authorities mentioned the actions taken by Malaysia and Japan, noting that the World Health Organization and India have also expressed worry about the situation in China.
Meanwhile, the official statistics show completely contradictory data as it showed only one Covid death in the last seven days. This has created major doubts among health experts and residents about the government's data. The statistics do not match what other, much less populated nations experienced when they reopened.
In a significant move to loosen restrictions on its borders, which have been largely closed since 2020, China announced on Monday that it would stop forcing arriving tourists to undergo quarantine beginning on January 8.
