US golfer Grayson Murray, the two-time PGA Tour winner, has passed away on Saturday morning. He was 30-year-old. Earlier on Friday, Murray did not participate in the second round of Charles Schwab Challenge. No cause of death has been specified so far.

In 2021, Murray revealed on social media that he was receiving treatment for alcoholism. He was also open about his mental health struggles after winning in January.

Earlier in January, Murray claimed victory at the Sony Open. He had previously won the Barbasol Championship in 2017.


Following his collegiate golfing career at Wake Forest, East Carolina, and Arizona State, Murray turned professional in 2015. Throughout his career, he notched up two PGA Tour wins and secured 10 top-10 finishes.
