US elections 2024: New poll shows Harris leading Trump in four crucial swing states

Kamala Harris may have overtaken Donald Trump in four critical swing states in a latest poll right amid the Election Day scenario, which will feel like a breather for the Democrat camp.

A new poll from The New York Times/Siena College found Harris to be leading Trump across Nevada, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Georgia, all of which are key swing states, and hold utmost importance not only in the popular votes, but also in the Electoral College votes.

Nevada, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Georgia at the four swing States both candidates are eagerly battling after as securing all four of these States will mean a solid chance at winning the Presidential elections, since the winning candidate will get a lot of mileage from these four swing states in the Electoral College votes.


In Nevada, Harris is ahead by 3 percentage points, which is a great sign for the Democrat candidate, as she has been lagging behind in the poll race for quite some time now, with Trump emerging steadily.
Interestingly, North Carolina is quite a surprise as this was the only swing state that Donald Trump won in the last Presidential elections in 2020. He is trailing here in this latest poll data by 2 points, but that is still within the margin of error, meaning that things can turn around at any point, and the fight is still neck-and-neck.

The poll has placed Trump ahead only in Arizona, where the former US President is leading Harris by a significant 4 percentage points.
