Prior to the arrival of Bankman-Fried, the prosecutors confirmed his ex-girlfriend Caroline Ellison and FTX co-founder Gary Wang, who were Bankman-Fried’s close associates, had pleaded guilty to fraud and conspiracy charges. Thus, the road ahead seems dark and hopeless for the once “poster boy” of the crypto revolution.
