The US markets, especially the commercial one, is showing no major panic around any impending US recession, as per a latest survey. An IB Times report has suggested that consumers are currently bullish on the US economy, and may be laying their faith on the strength of it, and going crazy on recent shopping trends.

Are Americans really worried about recession?

Even though an impending recession sounds scary to the stock market as well as for the employment sector, Americans do not appear to be much bothered with the same, when it comes to shopping. The survey has shown that consumer sentiment is increasing amid these fears around an impending US recession, something that could give some oxygen to the markets, hinting that the recession is not scaring away everyone.

The study has also revealed that the consumer sentiment, which was at its lowest in June 2022, is currently peaking at a nearly 40% increase, something that is a good sign for the US economy, proving that the current situation is significantly better than the pandemic period. Moreover, the gauge showing the economic conditions, has also depicted that things are much better than it was a year ago.
