University of Idaho: Four students found dead near campus

In a Monday statement, University of Idaho President Scott Green said the four students discovered deceased near campus on Sunday are considered to be murder victims.

Around noon on Sunday, police in Moscow, Idaho, went to reports of an unconscious individual on King Road, near the university's golf course and close to Greek Row, and discovered the four deceased students.

Green said in a statement on Monday, that it is with deep sadness that he shares with everyone that the university was notified today of the death of four University of Idaho students living off-campus who were suspected of homicide. Classes are cancelled state-wide and online on Monday, November 14, out of respect for these fellow Vandals. All campuses are open. Classes will resume on Tuesday, November 15.


Green noted that the Moscow Authorities Department does not feel there is an active danger to the community at this time, and that the institution is aiding police in their investigation.
