The kids said he is not allowed to do that when you get home.

According to Cameron, he took the kids' advice and makes an effort to listen more and manage less. He said that it is valid. That was when he came to the realisation that he was carrying too much of the parental burden and was overcompensating.

The humbling experience of raising teenagers may have had a greater influence on how Cameron made his most recent film than any new camera system or significant media merger, influencing both the subject matter and the way he handled his cast and crew.

Cameron raises the stakes at home in "Avatar: The Way of Water", which Disney will release on December 16.
