Uncoupled Season 2: Will Netflix show be a reality? All you need to know

Uncouple season 2 seems to be a great prospect even as there hasn’t been any confirmation from Netflix. The first season of eight episodes has been trendy, with the ending leaving multiple storyline doors open.

After a successful first season, Uncoupled is ripe for a season 2. While we don't have any official confirmation from Netflix, the unique romantic sitcom is not marked as a "limited series", which means that the OTT platform has left the door open for subsequent seasons.

Another reason we believe that a second season will be a reality is how the first ended. As Michael and his friends continue to explore the New York City dating world, there could be a lot in store to make a compelling case for another season. The eight episodes in the first season were nicely paced, and fans were left wanting more.

Uncoupled explores the subject of LGBTQ+ romance, portraying the relationship between Michael Lawson (Neil Patrick Harris) and Colin McKenna (Tuc Watkins) and their subsequent divorce after 17 years of marriage.

A true Manhattanite, Michael is a New York City real estate agent. Following the divorce, Michael explores the dating world, getting hooked up along the way. Besides Michael, the show has multiple gay couples.

Who Can Return in the Season 2?
Michael being around in season 2 is a no-brainer. Colin will likely return, as will Michael’s pals Billy and Stanley. Suzzane, Michael’s marquee woman in personal and professional life, will most likely be around. Lastly, Claire Lewis, played by Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden, will also be around.

Central characters other than Michael are played by Tisha Campbell (Suzanne Prentiss), Emerson Brooks (Billy Burns), and Brooks Ashmanskas (Stanley James).
