The United Nations secretary-general Antonio Guterres of the COP 27 believes the earth is sending a “distress signal”. Against this backdrop of severe concerns regarding global climate, COP27 begins in Egypt's picturesque port city of Sharm el-Sheikh. Heads of State' are expected to come up with observations to tackle the most significant issue of the present, climate change and global warming. Besides the leaders, delegates from 195 member countries, scientists, activists and others will discuss possible solutions.

According to scientists, global temperatures have risen by 1.15C compared to pre-industrial times. In addition, the acceleration of sea level rise, glacier mass losses and heat waves were at severe levels of concern globally.
