As the Russia-Ukraine war continues to rage on, Ukraine’s First Lady made a humanitarian appeal to Britain. In a public appeal in the Parliament, Olena Zelensky urged Britishers not to forget the tragedy that her country was facing.
She called out to the Western countries to continue sending Ukraine vital help. 'This will help her country fight against Putin’s attacks on the country’s infrastructure.'
Olena Zelenska also stated that Putin’s continued aggression sought to demolish Ukraine’s resolve to continue the war.
Talking to a radio program, Zelenska stated that the war was not about Ukrainian freedom and lives. It was a war of values, truth, and opposing world views. She urged people not to forget their tragedy and make it commonplace.
Zelenska also praised the British Government for their unending economic, military, and political support. She said her people are tired of the ongoing war but had little choice.
